CondoGenie includes a public-facing website for your condominium. A place residents and prospective owners can find basic information without logging in. Here's how to get it set up from scratch.
## Step 1: Enable the public website
1. Go to **Administration** → **Website maintenance**
2. Scroll to **Change website theme**
3. Click **User this theme** under any theme you like besides the default theme with a sign in screen only
4. Your Public website will be enabled
## Step 2: Set your header image / website background photo
The header image appears at the top of every public page and gives your site a professional look.
1. Go to **Administration** → **Website Maintenance** →
2. Scroll to **Website background photo**
3. Click **Choose file** and choose an image (a photo of your building works well)
4. Click **Save**
> **Recommended:** A wide landscape photo of the building exterior, at least 1200px wide.
## Step 3: Create your website pages
1. Click on **Administration**
2. Click on the **Website Maintenance**
3. To create a new website page click on the **Add a website page** button on the right hand side
4. To edit a website page, Click the **settings/gear ![[gear.png|20]] icon** to the right of the page title you want to edit, then click the **Edit** option
5. Update you content
6. Click the **Save** button.
**Suggested pages for most condos:**
- About (brief description of the building, amenities, community)
- Contact (board contact info, management company details)
- Rules and Regulations (link to or paste the key rules)
- Parking Information (visitor parking rules, contact for violations)
## Step 5: Choose a design theme
1. Go to **Administration** → **Website maintenance**
2. Scroll to **Change website theme**
3. Click **User this theme** under any theme you like besides the default theme with a sign in screen only
4. Your Public website will be enabled
## Managing your website
- **Edit a page:** Website Maintenance → find the page → click Edit
- **Hide a page:** Edit the page and turn on **Website page is a draft**
- **Disable the website:** Website Maintenance → [[Disable Public Website]]
