Setting up 50, 100, or 200+ units manually is time-consuming but there are ways to do it efficiently. Here's the fastest approach. ## Does CondoGenie support CSV import for units? Not currently. Units must be created one by one or generated automatically when you create a building. The building creation wizard is the fastest method for large buildings. ## Fastest method: Auto-generate units when creating a building When you add a new building, CondoGenie can generate all units automatically based on your floor count and units per floor. 1. Go to **Administration** → **Buildings** 2. Click **Add new building** 3. Fill in the **Prefix** (e.g. "North", "Tower A") 4. Enter the **Number of floors** and **Number of units per floor** 5. Click **Save** CondoGenie generates all units automatically — a 10-floor building with 8 units per floor creates 80 units instantly, numbered by floor (101–108, 201–208, etc.). > **Tip:** Set up your building structure first, then invite residents. Residents need to exist in the unit list before they can be assigned during registration. ## If auto-generation doesn't match your numbering Some buildings have irregular numbering (skipped numbers, penthouse units, commercial units on ground floor). For these: 1. Auto-generate the standard units as above 2. Then go to **Units** in the main navigation 3. Click **Create unit** to add the irregular ones individually 4. Edit or delete any auto-generated units that don't apply ## If your building is already created (importing units into an existing building) 1. Go to **Units** → **Create unit** 2. Select the **Building** 3. Enter the **Unit number** 4. Set any additional information (optional) 5.
