This guide explains how to view, download, and share the results of a `Survey`.

## Who Can View Survey Results

When **Anonymous Results** is enabled, viewers see aggregated results without the identity of individual voters.

## Steps to View Survey Results
1. Navigate to the **Surveys** page.
2. Click the **survey name** to open it.
3. Click the **Results** tab.
4. Review the answers and aggregated results for each question.
Each question's responses are displayed alongside the question, making it easy to evaluate outcomes.

## Making Results Public After Creation
If a survey was initially created with private results, you can change the visibility later — as long as no submissions have been received yet.
1. Open the survey in edit mode (see [[Editing a Survey]]).
2. Toggle **Make Results Public** on.
3. Click **Save**.
After saving, respondents who visit the survey will be able to view submitted results.
> **Note:** Editing — including the public results toggle — is locked once the first submission is received.

## Downloading Survey Results
You can export survey results as a report for offline review or record-keeping.
1. Open the survey.
2. Click the **Download** button.
3. The results report will be downloaded to your device.

## Viewing Results for Attached Surveys
Surveys attached to `News Announcements` or `Tasks` have their results viewable in the same way:
- **News-attached surveys:** Open the survey from the announcement or from the main `Surveys` page, then click the **Results** tab.
- **Task-attached surveys:** Open the task and review the survey results inline, or open the survey from the main `Surveys` page.

## Important Notes
- As an administrator, you will **always be able to see results**, regardless of the public or anonymous settings.
- Anonymous results hide **who** voted for what but still show **how many** votes each option received.
- Results are available even after a survey is archived. See [[Archiving a Survey]].
