CondoGenie sends notification emails from **[email protected]**. If these keep landing in your spam or junk folder, adding CondoGenie to your safe senders list fixes the problem permanently. ## Gmail 1. Open **Gmail** and search for an email from CondoGenie in any folder (including spam) 2. If you find one in spam, open it and click **Not spam** at the top 3. To prevent it happening again: - Click the three dots (⋮) at the top right of the email → **Filter messages like these** - Click **Create filter** - Check **Never send it to Spam** - Click **Create filter** Alternatively: 1. Click the **Settings gear** → **See all settings** → **Filters and Blocked Addresses** 2. Click **Create a new filter** 3. In the **From** field, enter: `[email protected]` 4. Click **Create filter** → check **Never send it to Spam** → **Create filter** ## Outlook / Hotmail / Microsoft 365 1. Go to **Settings** (gear icon, top right) → **View all Outlook settings** 2. Click **Mail** → **Junk email** 3. Under **Safe senders and domains**, click the **+** button 4. Type: `condogenie.com` 5. Click **Save** ## Apple Mail (iPhone, iPad, Mac) 1. Find a CondoGenie email (check your spam folder if needed) 2. **On iPhone/iPad:** Long press the sender name → **Add to Contacts** → save 3. **On Mac:** Right-click the sender → **Add to Contacts** Apple Mail treats emails from known contacts as trusted. Adding CondoGenie as a contact is the most reliable fix. ## Yahoo Mail 1. Open a CondoGenie email 2. Click the three dots → **Filter emails like this** 3. Set the rule to **Move to Inbox** 4. Click **Save** Or: 1. Go to **Settings** → **More Settings** → **Filters** 2. Click **Add new filters** 3. Set **From** to `[email protected]` 4. Select **Inbox** as the destination 5. Click **Save** ## Hotmail (classic interface) 1. Open a CondoGenie email in your inbox or spam 2. Right-click the email → **Add to Safe Senders** ## Still going to spam? If emails continue going to spam after whitelisting, it may be due to your email provider's server-level filtering. Contact your IT department (for work emails) or your email provider's support. --- See also: [[Not receiving e-mail notifications]] | [[Why are my residents not receiving email notifications?]] | [[What to do when the password reset email does not arrive]]
