You uploaded a document, but residents say they can't find it. Here are the most common causes. ## 1. Document's access doesn't have the users' User Group specified You can set access of who should see each document by specifying access during the upload process. If the User Group a user belongs to hasn't been given access the user will not see the document. specific user groups. **Check:** 1. Go to **Documents** in the main navigation 2. Find the document and click on it to open its settings 3. Check the **Access** section 4. Verify that the proper [[User Groups Overview|User Group]] has been given access. If not add the [[User Groups Overview|User Group]]. 5. Click **Save** ## 2. The resident doesn't know where to find it Sometimes residents look in the wrong place. Point them to: 1. Click **Documents** in the main navigation 2. Browse by category or use the search > **Tip:** Let new residents know about the Documents section in your welcome announcement. ## Quick check: Can YOU see the document? Log in as an admin and confirm you can see the document in the Documents section. If you can see it but the resident can't, it's a group/category permissions issue.
