This guide explains how to **post a new Classified** to your community marketplace, including adding a title, description, and image attachments.

## Prerequisites
- An active resident or owner account. For account setup, see [[Users and Residents Overview]].
- **Posting permission** enabled on your account. If you don't see the green **Add a New Classified** button, posting may be disabled — contact your administrator.
- Any photos you want to include are saved on your computer or device.

## Steps to Post a Classified
1. Open the **Classifieds** page.
2. Click the green **Add a New Classified** button.
3. Enter a **title** for your classified.
4. Enter a **description** of the item you're selling — include condition, dimensions, price, and any other details a buyer would want to know.
5. Scroll down to the attachments section and add photos:
- Click the **Choose File** button and select photos from your device, **or**
- **Drag and drop** photos into the upload box.
- Click **Open** or **Choose** (depending on your browser and operating system) to confirm.
- Selected files are added as attachments to the classified.
6. Review your classified.
7. Click the **Create** button.
The classified is uploaded and now appears on the Classifieds page for the rest of the community to see.

## After Posting
When you open your new classified you can:
- View images by clicking the **arrows** to scroll between them.
- Download any image with the **download icon**.
- See **comments** other community members post if they're interested in your item.

## Tips
- **Use clear photos.** Multiple well-lit photos help your item sell faster.
- **Be specific in the description.** List condition, age, brand, dimensions, and asking price up front.
- **Use the search-friendly title.** A title like *IKEA Malm Desk – White* is easier to find than *Desk for sale*.
- **Respond to comments quickly.** Interested buyers may message multiple sellers — quick responses win the sale.
