This guide is for administrators who need to add a new bookable Amenity. For an overview, see the [[Amenities Overview]] ## Prerequisites - You must be part of a [[User Groups Overview|User Group]] with permissions to create and edit [[Amenities Overview|Amenities]]. ## Steps to Create an Amenity 1. Go to **Amenities**. 2. Click **Add New Amenity**. 3. Fill in the fields - **Title** (required) - **Description** (required) — can include policies, rules, or any details users must review. - **Attachments** — upload any forms, policies, or supporting documents. - **Deposit Amount** - **Fee Amount** - **Fee Period** — the period the fee applies to. - **Opening Hours** — earliest time the amenity can be booked. - **Closing Hours** — latest time the amenity can be booked. 4. Optional settings: - Select **Requires Approval** if bookings must be approved by an administrator. - Select **Require Purpose** if the user must specify a purpose when booking. 5. Click **Save**.
