The **Amenities** feature lists all bookable amenities available in your condominium (for example: party rooms, guest suites, BBQ areas, gyms). Residents can review amenity details, check availability, and submit bookings. Administrators with the appropriate access can create, edit, and manage amenities, as well as review and approve bookings.
## Key Concepts
- **Amenity**: A bookable facility or resource in the condominium.
- **Availability Calendar**: A calendar view on each amenity that shows existing bookings and open time slots.
- **Booking**: A reservation made by a resident for a specific amenity, date, and time range.
- **Approval Required**: A flag on an amenity indicating that bookings must be approved by an administrator before they are confirmed. Amenities requiring approval are marked with an approval icon.
- **Deposit**: A refundable amount that may be required when booking an amenity.
- **Fee**: A charge associated with booking the amenity, applied per a defined period.
- **Purpose**: An optional field that can be required, asking the resident to state why they are booking the amenity.
## Prerequisites
- All residents can view Amenities and submit bookings.
- Creating, editing, and managing Amenities (including approving bookings) requires a user to be part of a [[User Groups Overview|User Group]] with such permissions.
## Notifications
When a booking that requires approval is approved, the resident who made the booking receives an email notification with further details and instructions. The approval icon on the booking is also removed once it has been approved.
